About Jason Robinette
A published game designer with over 20 years in the industry, Jason is best known for creating the Conan Collectible Card Game, which ranked #2 out of 101 CCGs in 2006. He was also selected to join the original Star Wars Players Committee, where he designed the very first virtual cards for the Star Wars CCG, and served as Design Lead for the 1st Edition Star Trek CCG with the Continuing Committee. His design credits also include work on the original Ophidian 2350 and ArenaVerse, a sci-fi gladiator card game.
Quorum Games is Jason’s current publishing venture, where he develops games across a range of formats and genres. He has presented on game design at industry conventions including Metatopia, and attends Gen Con and PAX Unplugged regularly.
Before entering the games industry, Jason studied opera at The Juilliard School, a background that continues to inform his approach to dramatic narrative and immersive design. His experience also spans front-end web development, graphic design, and marketing work at Madison Avenue agencies.
